Old Edges

Cellar under wine
Coolness in stone
dark edges

Glass against glass
a dark remnant
Light at the edge

Bottle dust
under the shelf
Paper in darkness

Wine in shadow
the wall holds black
at old edges

Cork on the floor
a round imprint
beside the threshold

Empty shelf
dark edges
on the wall
