Dust on the threshold
bright step
at the edge

Hand over paper
flat warmth
in the white

Glass after voices
breath dries
at the edge

Ink in the white
an old pressure
lifts the fibre

Chair at the table
shadow on the floor
holds the form

Joint in the floor
a remnant of light
inside it
