Cellar beneath Paper

Empty shelves
dust at the edges
in light

Key in the lock
first steps
on the threshold

Empty wall
dust forms edges
in light

Cellar beneath paper
coolness rises
into the fibres

Old cash register
a stroke across
in dust

Door to the alley
wet light
draws into the ink
